Financial services giant Citigroup is leasing new space in downtown Dallas. High-ranking officials say the company has narrowed its options to three buildings. But real estate sources say Citi has already made its decision: the 43rd floor of Trammell Crow Center at 2011 Ross Ave. Execs at Crescent, which owns Trammell Crow Center, say they’re working on a number of leases in the tower—including the 43rd floor—but declined to reveal or comment on any potential tenant names. Typical floor plates in the 50-story building are 27,000 square feet.
Meanwhile, Citigroup is marketing its sprawling corporate park on Regent Boulevard in Irving. The three-building, 625,000-square-foot campus was developed as a build-to-suit for the company in 2006 by KDC. Reliable sources say Citigroup is trying to sell the property. A listing for the property on LoopNet, updated April 7, is also offering spaces for rent, ranging in size from 11,467 square feet to 421,077 square feet.
